Types of testing
Alfa Lab is accredited for testing:
- Food safety and quality
- The quality and safety of juices, nectars and concentrated fruit juices
- The quality and safety of soft drinks
- The quality and safety of strong alcoholic beverages
- The quality and safety of wines and aromatized wines
- Health safety of aromas and additives
- Health safety of consumer goods (cosmetics, dishes and utensils, packaging, cleaning products, etc.)
Laboratory Alfa Lab
Foundation
Alfa lab is an accredited laboratory for testing the quality and safety of food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as health safety of consumer goods.
Initially, the laboratory operated within Vino Župa factory for the purpose of analyzing samples of raw materials, semi-finished products and finished products.
By privatizing Vino Župa, the laboratory has become an independent business entity and as such has been operating successfully under the name Alfa Lab doo, since 2006.
Accreditation
With its capacity and credibility, it is one of the most serious laboratories in Serbia.
It has been accredited since 17.01.2006. in accordance with the ISO/IEC 17025 standard. You can see the scope of accreditation HERE.
We are also on the list of Ministry of Agriculture’s authorized laboratories for testing the quality of grape, wine and other products.
Types of analysis
Besides analysis for Vino Župa’s products, we also conduct sample analysis on the requests of the Ministry of Agriculture and Enviromental protection, the Ministry of Health, as well as for the large number of domestic companies and producers.
Thanks to the developed technologies, the laboratory today provides microbiological safety analysis, analysis of chemical composition, presence of additives, heavy metals mycotoxins, vitamins and many other:

Microbiological testing
Fully harmonized with EU and domestic regulations.

Physico-chemical tests
Determination of chemical composition, quality control parameters, metals and metalloids, pesticide residues, mycotoxins (aflatoxins B1,B2,G1,G2, patulin), determination of vitamin C, sweeteners, preservatives, fatty acids, sugar composition (glucose, sucrose and fructose), hydroxymethylfurfural, organic acids (citris, malic, tartaric, lactic and fumaric acids)
